This is called the birdcage and a bobby directs traffic from it during peak periods. It is often left un attended.

One of the three houses we lived in during our stay in BDA. This one is in St. Davids. It has been let go and is now pretty run down.

Canon next to the old Holiday Inn. The hotel was not there when we lived in BDA. I will post another shot of it from when we lived there with my little brother and me sitting on top.

Cannon. Shore battery. From where we sat, we used to have an unobstructed view of the Sea. Now it faces the front lobby of the old Holiday Inn in St. Davids. The Holiday Inn was later turned into a Club Med and it failed too.
